Day one of my imprisonment in the world of blogging. So far….so confused.

Okay it’s not really that bad 😉 I recently revamped my website, meaning I completely switched from Squarespace to Showit. Why? Even though I loved the ease and simplicity of Squarespace, it wasn’t the best option for a photography site. I wanted something that had better blog capabilities and more ability to customize things…gotta make my brand cohesive ya know 😉

So here it is. My first blog post. How is that I seem to always have so much to say but now I’m struggling to find what to write? I’d love to hear from you! Send me ideas and your thoughts on what you’d love to hear about and see more of!

So here’s some fun facts for ya!

How about I tell you a few things you probably know about me and several things you might not know….like I’m actually an evil genius….muahahaha!

That brings me to the first thing you likely have already concluded…

• I’m a goober. I love to make people laugh! Most of the time I’m making them laugh at me cuz I think goofiness is the best kind of humor. I think when you can laugh at yourself (in a non degrading way) it means you’re comfortable with who you are.
• I love to take pictures!
• Sometimes things in nature are just too overwhelmingly beautiful that I don’t take a picture because I want to just engrave the moment in my memory rather than put it onto a screen
• I love people….for the most part…I may or may not get a lil bit of road rage when people go super slow.
• I am part Mexican and part Norwegian….but my DNA tests say my genetics are 49% Scandinavian, 19% Iberian Peninsula, 2% Jewish (yay I’m closer to Jesus than I thought! 😉 )
• Yes, I love tacos like most everyone but my favorite snack EVER is chips and salsa….ALLLLL DAY! (said in a Schmidt “New Girl” voice)
• I love watching tv shows with my hubby and my puppy! We watch stuff….errrrrr….like every evening before bed *gasp! Some of my favs are: the Flash, Blindspot, Last Ship, Friends, New Girl, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Modern Family

Imma post this now because I need to test this thing out and see how it actually works. If you’re reading this….you’re ahead of the game and faster than me! 😉
