For being speechless about Sierra’s beauty….I have a surprising amount of words to say! 😉

I met Sierra almost exactly two years ago. She had a super cute bible study leader that I was majorly crushing on [who happens to be my husband now…crushin’-hardcore-for-the-win!] I had just became a volunteer youth leader at Good Shepherd Church and had been invited to Tyler’s bible study he held at his house every week for the students he led. So I’m there for the first time, secretly feeling awkward inside (but since I’m a secret introvert who pretends she extroverted people think I’m totally comfortable in crowds I don’t know….muahaha I have everyone fooled].

In walks this incredibly joyous girl with the most beautiful smile and an equally as beautiful personality, one that just draws people to her. Sierra was not only pretty but she was genuinely a sweet person. I was new and she seemed like an easy person to befriend so I told her I’d love to get to know her more and asked if she would be one of my senior models that year.

She said ‘Sure! But I just finished my freshman year so it might be awhile….’ [insert my shocked face here].

“Whaaaaaaaaaaaat” I said, in total disbelief that this mature young beauty wasn’t already a senior.

Fast-forward a few months….

I took group pics of Sierra and some friends and found that Sierra was a natural in front of the camera. As I got to know Sierra over our weekly bible studies and high school group get togethers I realized my first impressions of her were spot on. She really is a beautiful person in every way. Her friends speak highly of her, her leaders love her, and I’m super blessed to have been able to get to know her more.

So here we are, two years later, and I finally got to photograph Sierra’s actual senior pictures! It was such a fun evening and was bittersweet when we both remembered our first encounter and how two years later we were doing the photos we’d talked about when we first met.

So enough talking…I’ll let these photos give you the tiniest glimpse of the gorgeous person that is miss Sierra Ellis 🙂
